Hats_byMaria is a London based couture millinery brand. Its ethos is rooted in traditional British craftsmanship and attention to detail with an injection of young and experimental flare.
Hats_byMaria are lovingly handmade in London, each hat is a journey of exploration.
The Hats_byMaria brand grew out of Maria’s passion for millinery and the process of designing and creating hats for special occasions. Or creating a hat which is just perfect for you.
Our hats are characterised by sculptural shapes, vivid colour, hand embroidery and handcrafted embellishments. Each and every one is wearable art.

The founder - Maria Zherebtsova - is a Russian-born Londoner, Oxford Graduate, former investment banker and culture and arts blogger. For many years Maria combined a successful career in finance with a keen interest in art, culture and fashion. These influences culminated in this current exciting project.
Maria studied at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, and completed internships with leading couture milliners Edwina Ibbotson, Judy Bentinck and Bridget Bailey. She loves to travel and find exciting materials and artists to get inspired by.
Maria lives in central London with her architect husband.
